SitBloom Privacy Policy

1. Scope and data collection

This addendum applies to the SitBloom iPhone app. SitBloom does not require an account and does not collect personal information, sensor data, posture measurements, device identifiers, advertising data, or app analytics for Synap1e.

2. Camera and motion processing

If you choose Camera mode, SitBloom processes camera frames on-device to derive face and upper-body posture signals. Frames are not saved, uploaded, used for identification, or shared with Synap1e. If you choose compatible AirPods, headphone motion samples are processed on-device to derive posture angles and are not transmitted to Synap1e.

3. Local storage and retention

SitBloom stores settings, calibration, onboarding state, subscription access state, and posture session summaries locally on your device. Session history is limited to the most recent seven days. Resetting calibration removes the saved baseline; deleting SitBloom removes its local app data subject to Apple's device and backup behavior.

4. Apple services and permissions

Camera, motion, and notification access are controlled by iOS and can be revoked in Settings. Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription management under Apple's own terms and privacy practices; SitBloom reads verified StoreKit entitlement status to unlock Pro features.

5. Support messages and website visits

If you choose to email support, the contact details and message you send are used to answer your request and retained only as needed for support, security, and legal obligations. Visiting this website may generate standard hosting and performance records, but the SitBloom app does not send its sensor or session data to this website.

6. Your controls

You may use iOS Settings to revoke Camera, Motion & Fitness, or Notifications access, manage or cancel a subscription, and control Apple-managed backups. You can contact privacy@synap1e.com with privacy questions about support communications.

7. Wellness limitation

SitBloom is a posture habit and awareness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical condition.
