1. Scope
This policy applies to Synap1e web properties and apps. Different products may handle data differently, and app-specific addenda below control if they are more specific than the general policy.
2. How Synap1e products handle data
Some Synap1e products run entirely on-device, while others may process account details, support communication, limited usage telemetry, or app content needed to operate the service. Review the addendum for the product you use.
3. How data is used
Where data is processed, it is used to operate product features, improve reliability, respond to support requests, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data retention and deletion
Where Synap1e receives or stores data, we retain it only as long as needed for product operation, legal compliance, and user support. Many products also include in-app deletion controls.
5. App-specific addenda
Family Fridge addendum
Family Fridge 1.0 does not require a separate app account. You can keep a fridge only on this iPhone or optionally share a private household through Apple’s iCloud service. An iCloud account is required for household sharing. Family Fridge does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking.
ShiftGuard addendum
ShiftGuard stores trip plans and preferences on your iPhone. It uses limited per-installation security data to protect the app and its live-flight service; live flight search content is sent only when you choose lookup.
HeartCure addendum
HeartCure is designed to keep your most sensitive wellness data on-device. The app itself does not collect, upload, or transmit your in-app health or emotional data to Synap1e-operated servers.
FocusFlow addendum
FocusFlow stores session history and routine preferences to provide weekly progress insights. Data can be removed from in-app settings.
TrailNote addendum
TrailNote may process geolocation metadata to map journeys. You can disable location permissions at any time without account penalties.
SnapScan addendum
SnapScan processes document images for enhancement and OCR. Source files are encrypted at rest and can be permanently deleted by the user.
SitBloom addendum
The SitBloom app does not collect or transmit posture, camera, motion, session, account, advertising, or analytics data to Synap1e. Its posture analysis and app history are local to the user's device.
Borderwalk addendum
Borderwalk works fully offline and stores your map and progress on your device; no account is required to play. Signing in with Apple is optional and, if you choose it, processes your email address, an account identifier, and the username other players see in leagues and duels, so your progress can be backed up and you can compete with friends. You can delete your account and its server-side data at any time from Settings inside the app.
Sumwise addendum
Sumwise is designed around on-device storage for receipts, statements, and finance insights. No account is required for core app usage.
Walkai addendum
Walkai may process walking activity, route, and session metadata to deliver tracking, coaching adjustments, and progress insights. You can revoke location and Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
